Meet Dave Rae
Dave is a Certified Responsible Investment Adviser with over 20 years of experience in financial planning. He specialises in building "Portfolios of Purpose," aligning clients' financial strategies with their values to drive real-world impact. Dave is recognised as one of Financial Standard's Power 50 Most Influential Advisers and holds the Certified Responsible Investment Adviser accreditation from the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), where he served as a director from 2019 to 2023.
Dave is a leader in responsible investing and has been involved in advocacy for climate and democracy issues. He has contributed to publications like the Australian Financial Review and the Sydney Morning Herald. He is also an active impact investor, focusing on environmental and social themes.
Holding a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Dave is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
Dave is committed to educating clients and the industry about impact investing, emphasising the potential for investments to create positive change without sacrificing financial returns. Outside of work, Dave enjoys mountain biking and road biking, balancing financial wellbeing with an adventurous and fulfilling life.
